Call me Baby!

It's Silicon Valley in scenic northern
California where pr,odigious high-
tech and (tele)communication
masterpieces are being conjured
into existence, and, while being
home to landmark enterprises like
Intel, Apple, Microsoft and the
likes, state-of-the-art smart phones
and cutting-edge gadgets take
permanent residency in an
Angeleno's life(style), and with this
the ever sought-after, limitless
availability and freedom to proclaim
buzzing Hollywood chit chat for
'anytime minutes' on end -- via
phone line or online.

A constant urge of calling, texting,
e-mailing, facebooking, tweeting
and skyping while transmitting the
latest gossip and small talk is a
hipster's way of declaring his or
hers popularity and boundless (self)
adoration. Bang up-to-date and
looking rad with all the bling bling
attached, this non-stop buzzing,
flashing and beeping device
embodies sainthood to the L.A.
scenester crowd who doesn't give a
damn when the cell rings off the
hook: After all this is Hollywood
2012, not Transylvania 1021, so you
better send a text.

While permanently hovering on the
Wi-Fi and AT&T cloud, funky
gadget lovers and high-tech freaks
immerse into the immense universe
of mobile phone apps, chat rooms,
social media spaces, and Hollywood
twitter, electronically channeling
their sauciest gossip and Kardashian-
tuned lowdown to the enxtend of
Sunset Boulevard through and
through Perez Hilton style.

PS. Don't expect anybody in La La
Land to return your call - unless it's a
notice of discount on plastic surgery
or any other freebie. Leave a message
instead and have a hollyglamorous day.
